At times nettTracker will become disconnected from your accounting software (QuickBooks Online, Xero, Sage).
This can happen if the file has not been opened for several months or if automation options are disabled. Also, if the user that had originally created the connection between nettTracker and the accounting software has been removed as a user from the accounting software, that will also cause the error.
To put the connection back in place you need to be both a user in nettTracker and have appropriate admin rights in the accounting software. If that applies to you, do the following:
- In nettTracker select 'settings' from the bottom left hand menu
- Within 'Company Settings' select the 'Accounting Provider' tab
- Choose the option to 'Reconnect'
- If it appears the company file is connected but you continue to experience issues, instead select the option to 'Disconnect' and then 'Connect'
